Looking west from Calgary, as the sun sets behind the soaring Rockies, it's hard not to be inspired. Over a thousand small pieces of North American hardwoods are used to create an image reminiscent of the beautiful mountain sunsets and sunrises we are treated to all across this land.
Wrapped in a specially designed spring loaded black walnut frame, the panel floats freely on the compressed springs allowing the wood to expand and contract with the seasons.
Species used: Maple, ash, cherry, and black walnut.
